ALBATROSS Tours has appointed a new Managing Director, with Shelley Poten to take the business into a new era.
Poten will bring almost 20 years of experience with Flight Centre Travel Group to Brisbane-based Albatross, which specialises in tours to Europe.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Albatross Tours team to lead this esteemed company into its next chapter,” Poten said.
“Albatross Tours has a well-deserved reputation for providing extraordinary travel experiences to Europe, and I am committed to upholding and surpassing those standards.
“Together with Euan and the talented team, we will continue to offer journeys that exceed our customers’ expectations and create memories that last a lifetime.”
Albatross founder Euan Landsborough has been at the helm of the company for more than three decades, and will continue to play a pivotal role in it in his new role as ‘Founder & Tour Designer’.
He will continue to drive the development of new products and services by leveraging his understanding of the market, of customer needs, and emerging trends, Albatross said.
“I am thrilled to be embarking on this new chapter with Shelley,” Landsborough added.
