Andre Moten departs Magellan, HWBT

MAGELLAN Travel and Helloworld Business Travel (HWBT) General Manager Andre Moten (pictured) has announced his departure after leading the business for almost three years.

“Andre has been a true force to be reckoned with and has made invaluable contributions to the strength of our networks,” Helloworld stated, adding, “we extend our heartfelt thanks to Andre for his dedication and wish him the very best in all his future endeavours”.

He will be replaced by a double appointment, with Iain Summers taking the reins as GM at Magellan and Kellie Stanbury stepping up as GM at HWBT, after holding the National Business Manager title for just under a year. Previously, Stanbury also held senior positions at Corporate Travel Management and Tramada Systems.

Meanwhile, Summers’ resume includes senior roles at Amadeus IT Pacific, STA Travel, and Carlson Wagonlit Travel. He also owned and directed I.S Consulting Group, which offered operations management, IT services and management coaching, and is the current Director of Enable Golf, a tourism company he launched last year, which specialises in golf tours at courses around the globe.

Helloworld has also announced the appointment of Megan Tran as its new Network Coordinator. She will play a key role in ensuring the company’s communication and collaboration run smoothly.
